I’ve played Mother to a couple of kittens growing up, but Penelope is special. She’s quite different from any kitten I’ve ever seen, so this page will be dedicated to things that Penny likes and dislikes.
——————

Penny likes to creepily stare at me with her large, owl-like eyes, late in the night.
——————
Penny likes to keep the house clean. She will clean off her paws after using the litter box by tapping her paws on her litter box plastic swing door. Good girl!
——————
Penny likes confined spaces. She especially likes to sit in bowls.

——————
Penny likes to watch me do the dishes and sneaks sips of water from the tap while it’s on.
——————
I’m switching it up: Mama likes Penny’s crooked whiskers. They add character and show that she’s tough.
——————
Penny is not a fan of the soft cone she has to wear. I like to point and laugh at her.

——————
Penny DOES NOT like the spray bottle I am using to train her into being good.
——————
Penny likes to get back to her roots. She was found in the garbage near the Toronto Humane Society, garbage kitty is what I affectionately call her. She still loves the garbage, I catch her in the bin in my room from time to time… fortunately I only have Kleenex and such in there. It’s because of this habit, I’ve had to empty out my bin and turn it upside down rendering it useless. Oddly it still remains a permanent fixture in my room.

Although at first, Penny did not like “Kitty Jail” (I would put her in my hamper when she was misbehaving… or I needed to sweep/clean out her litter box), she now loves it, especially when my duvet cover is in there for cleaning because P stepped in hot sauce and then jumped on my bed, staining the cover. Penny likes to sleep in my hamper.

Penny does not like when I clean out her litter box. The minute she hears the scooper hit the litter, she will dart to her box and position herself right in the middle of the box, thus preventing me from cleaning it. This is when I lock her in my bedroom so the cleaning can resume.
——————
Penny likes to pace across the side of the tub when Mama (I) am in the shower, she is my protector. This helps tame my Psycho complex.
——————
Penny likes her Christmas gift, the new chew toy. He is currently nameless but this is ok with me so long as she is no longer using my arm for teething.

Hahaha…I laughed when I read you spray your cat with a spray bottle…I can so picture you doing that…I need to come by some time to see how crazy she is!

That’s so sweet that you got her from the Humane Society. And she doesn’t let the adoption into a new life make her “stray” away from her old roots, way to be solid, P.
Your kitten is adorable, miss.
She is definitely not frontin’.
Really like this format Ivana. You could almost make me a cat liker with your comments about your Penelope. Take care . John.
One glance at Miss. P and you’ll be in love with her. Trust me, she’s has that kind of power over people.
